How RiftRank works
Ranking and tier list
Win, pick and ban rates come from the official ranking of the Chinese Wild Rift server, published by Tencent, in four rank brackets: Diamond+, Master+, Challenger and Peak of the Rift. We update from the official source and show the date of the data in the footer.
The RiftRank tier orders the champions of each role by win rate above 50%, weighted down when few players pick the champion, plus a share for presence (pick and ban). A ban applies to the whole champion, so we split it across the roles the champion plays. Tencent's official tier appears in the “CN tier” column.
The exact formula, per role: (win rate − 50) × sample weight + 0.035 × ban rate in the role + 0.05 × pick rate. Tencent's official tier (T0 to T5) appears in the “CN tier” column.
Builds, runes, matchups and synergies
There is no public, up-to-date source of Wild Rift build, matchup and duo statistics yet. That is why these sections show recommendations, written from:
- Riot's official patch notes, especially item, rune and champion changes;
- the official item and rune list of the current patch, published by Tencent;
- high-elo player builds and recent guides, when their origin and date can be confirmed, used only for comparison;
- how each champion and their role work.
Recommendations never show win rate, popularity or number of games. Each one shows the patch it was reviewed for. When a new patch changes the champion, an item or a rune it uses, it goes back to review.
When measured statistics exist
If a reliable, authorized source starts offering current build or matchup data, it will appear with the “Measured stat” badge, with source and date, and the recommendation's explanation stays as a complement.
